Wedsnesday shake down ad report Forry's "Back Porch"
Went with Forry to Winnisquam, joined by Russ Johnson, Tech Rep for Digitrol IV.
Not too many bugs and all were squared away in short time except the live well.
Late start, slow day, tried Smelt, no bites, changed over to streamers and spoons and we went 2 for 3, marked tons of fish from 10 to 40 feet but only a few takers. Fish were 18 to 20 inches, but thin, same as all the Winni Salmon we have caught the past week ? Perhaps when the water warms up some, they will put the feed bag on.
Spoons and streamers that caught fish were mostly Orange in color, fish came from 15 to 30 feet over 40/50 feet of water.
Forry proudly displayed his Fish Lake Winni decal "Log on today, Fish on tomorrow", but as he can't log on, we didn't have many "fish on" today.
"The Barge" will be on Winni Saturday, give us a shout.
