Fished down the Cape yesterday for Stripers. We went out with Jon Hyde (508 454-7272) who specializes on light spinning or fly fishing for Stipers on the Brewster Flats. Winds were 15 to 20 knotts so it was bumpy to say the least. We fished the outgoing tide from 3pm till about 6:30pm when some thunder storms started to move in. All fish were caught on pink or white 7” Slug-os on 8 pound line with a 20 pound leader. Biggest fish was 44”. Most of the time we were in 5 feet or less of water always just off shore for those that get sea sick.
