I am proud to say that for the first time at squam this year (3 outings so far) I didn't get squamed!
I had the opportunity to fish Squam last night. Beauty of a night to get out there. Fished from about 6 PM until dark. Had a blast.
Caught 2 squam lake fatties. One 16" Rainbow and one 19" Salmon. Both fish released to fight another day. The size of the fish that come out of that lake is incredible. The rainbow was almost 2 lbs and the salmon was 3.5 - 4 lbs. The salmon put up one hell of a fight and didn't want to come in the boat. They eat real good over there. Both fish were caught off the rigger at about 35'. Hot pink DB was the color of the night and caught both fish.

Good job, it's been tough there, but "good things come to those that wait" (sometimes, ha,ha).
