Spent the last 7 days on Squam sort of a vacation, staying 3 more days (maybe) Up til tofday, fished 7 7 or 8 hours each day

Fished with differenrt guys from the message board each day, a few came back for a 2nd day (that's dedication, ha,ha) Only 1 "Squamed" day, other days caught several small Bows and now and then one Bow over 4, nothing huge. Can't remember when we last caught a Salmon, maybe 2 or 3 weeks ago, we did catch "1" yearling Salmon yesterday, it was about 9" long and looking very good. That was only the 3rd new Salmon we have caught all year so far, I doubt we will catch many more until fall.

Had the G2 Jigger boys up, Paul, Adam and Ben, did allot of under water filming on the G2's for their web site, etc. Played with some new stuff they brought, theb "new and improved" G2 jigging planer board ran without a hitch and caught allot of fish, I kept what they brought and ordered another one.

Paul brought several new Cee Dee Streamer patterns to try, Orange Ghost a big winner, bigger winner was the "Congnac" and another "no name" orange like whiskers and RJ's Red Gray caught fish.

We had a bunch of new streamers from Jim's Lures too, best one was Quabbin Special, a few other no names were good too, mostly YOY look alikes.

I did meet and fish allot with Doug "Lefty" Elkins, a converted Bass guy that is wating no time getting set up. After fishin with me 2 or 3 times and seeing some of my gear catch fish, he has bought a G2 Stacker and G2 Ball, he is talking about a Jim's Rod Pumper or 2. He's a fast leanner and was setting up my stuff after only being showed a few times, with no problems.

That's about it unless we score big the next few days.

Really enjoyed the days on the barge with you, John. I'm sure we will put in more time, hopefully when the bite is more cooperative. God knows there is no shortage of bait down there but I will still hit the lake with everything I've learned, for the rest of the week - hopefully there is at least one 4+ yr old I can get ****** off enough to hit out of spite.

Will keep an ear peeled on 11, expecting you to boat one of them monsters I keep hearing about. GL, GL over the rest of your vacation.

got your e-mail today, but was busy dealing with a customer all day thanks for the heads up.. ocean has backed off a little but startin to turn on agian slowlllly.
