Hit the water early with Dana again this week. Fished bait on a slow troll. Lost a nice fish at 4 colors, as the second lead rod was being put in the holder he hit. MDR. Short time later laker at 34' off the ball by 35, around 22". Followed up (slowly mind you nothing hot and heavy) with two bows (one 40' one 5 colors). One nice salmon (released because he was begging at the boat, it was pitiful). One white perch. Salmon came as the heavy rain approached. We planned to hang in longer but the lightning and thunder from the Alton end scared us off. Nice when the only user group on the lake is fishermen.
