On Sunday night there were about 30 boats thats were broken into at Parker Marine and on the Merrymeeting river. The crooks made off with various electronics and valuables. Seems they made the heists by boat. My boat was one of the boats violated, but I really had nothing of value except my trolling gear bag which was not taken thank god. If anybody has info the Marine Patrol and Alton Police would be grateful. Next time I pray my para ordnance and I are there to greet the scumbags.
Always my biggest fear, I have insurance, but don't want to show up at 4:00 and have no gear to fish with. So I always take enough stuff home each day (Electronics, rods, reels, tackle bags, etc) so I can fish the next day.
Our trolling reels look old fashioned so maybe they would leave them, lol.
I cant believe someone would even do that... I know I wont be leaving anything on my boat for now on... hope you guys catch who ever it was and ill definitely keep an eye out for it..
