My Friday Winni Report

Went out of Meredith about 7am, started a little later than I would of liked, but I brought my favorite fishing partner with me and getting my 6 year old up much earlier than 430 just isnt fair haha. BEAUTIFUL DAY ON THE LAKE!!!!

Boat ran well as well, kicker motor kept us at a steady 2.2mph all day, my big motor had over heating issues, same as last year. Something with these thermostats just isnt right. I pulled them out on the water and it ran great after that.

We got 5 Salmon, all healthy looking and no hook wounds at all. Ranged from 17-21". Got 1 on a streamer and a dodger, the others on DB Smelts, White with Red Dots, Orange with tiger pattern, and a Orange Michigan Stinger. Water depth was 25-40ft and water temps were from 41-45 degrees.

Pix and a Video of Brady reeling in the 1st of the season.

Re: My Friday Winni Report

Unlike his old man Cody!

I did some upgrades on my Trophy, we no longer have twin boats anymore :-)

Will see you guys on the water during the derby I hope.

Re: My Friday Winni Report

I don't have a Trophy anymore! Sold it two summers ago and I had a Wellcraft last year!

Re: My Friday Winni Report

Great report, those are the details are what reports need.

Looks like a nice healthy 2 yr old in the photo with 3 fish, the bottom one with "Adipose Fin", other two look like 3 yr olds with left vent clipped. A fin clip is not always missing most times only deformed pretty badly.

Nice to have a dedicated partner like you have there, good job.
