Interesting the list of non-Derby participants is growing and allot of folks I know that are staying away have not put their making up yet.
Hoping it could be the end of the Spring Derby, regardless of Fish and Games position that as "when Derby entries reduced, hook wounding rose". I don't believe Viar would make that statement if not true, it just doesn't make any rational sense ???????? Not many can deny that it does make much more sense that this year and last, we have much "better quality Salmon with no Derby". Maybe this falls netting results will bear out what most if us think ?
In any case I doubt the Derby will survive if entrants continue to drop off.
I'm not in any way trying to make those participating be on a guilt trip, sorry if it comes across that way, by all means please enjoy the Derby and have a fun safe time.
