The annual spring fishing "Armada" saw 14 RFPs on 4 boats having a great day of fishing on Winni.
At 11:30 we met at the Meredith docks and had lunch at Guiseppes.
Much comraderie and fun was had by all.
All retired folks are welcome to join. Contact Gray Ghost at firstname.lastname@example.org if you so desire.
Sound's like fun, can't wait for retirement. Any fish caught or just fish stories?
More fish than stories. Thanks to White Cap for organizing the Armada.
Fish were caught, but as you might guess, there are always more stories than fish! BTW, most were about the one that "got away"! LMAO
Hugh's & mine crossed on the "interweb".
Take your pick. LOL
Trophy Hunter, (Russ Johnson) caught a beauty aboard the "Peggy C". ( after the meal) A 4yr old male Salmon. 4#6oz. (looked like a Squam salmon.
Each of the four boats were well into the double digit range by lunch. I think only two fish were kept by anyone the whole day. We all use rubber nets and I think single hooks that unhook the fish quickly and back in the water sooner. It was a great fishing day.
Fishing was very good and a good time was had by all. Aboard the Gray Ghost the early bite was a flurry of activity. The first line in caught the biggest fish of the day, a five plus lb. laker. Thanks Gus, Cal S. and everyone else. Cal P.
