3 first's on the boat over the weekend.
Jordan my son, took a nice laker at 14.5 pounds on Friday in Pre-fishing. Caught on a spoon.
Bryn took a 11.4 Brownie during the A-Tom-Mik Challenge. That anchored our box. We ended up with 42 pounds for 6 fish, all brownies. Do the math, thats a tad under 7 pound average. We finished 15th out of 70 Teams. Only the kids reel in the fish. No parents reel in or help reel in fish. Its all about the kids. We had 3 kids on board.
Lots of fish both days. About 20 each day and we only fished from 5 to 1 on Sat.
Late start on Sunday. Only one fish in the boat. My personal best and not likely to be bettered at 19.9 pounds and 33 inches long. A very fat brownie committed suicide by taking the spoon on the slide diver out 200 ft. It came late, about 15 min left till our decided quitting time.
The fish can be seen on Facebook at NY Guide Service.
how are the fleas on the fishing line?
Hi Doug. Are you back in NH for the summer? Still wintering in Utah? Did you build in Canterbury yet? Getting back into salmon fishing again? Last I heard you were into white perch. Have you been out to Catfish Creek lately? Good to have you back. Dennis
No, No fleas while I was out there.
