Fished Winni from 5:30 till 10am when the four footers chased us off. What a bumby ride in !! Put in at Ctr. Hbr, started trolling in front of Five Mile, and turned around by Middle Ground. Caught fish the whole way! 14 on, 11 in the boat with a mix of Salmon, Lakers, and Bass. 2 Nice fat 18" Sammy's, and a 3+lb Laker being the biggest. Big smallies at 30-33' in 60+ fow?, guess their chasing the bait. Kept one wounded salmon, gut full of perch fry, all others released. Guide Special-Pink/Green/Silver striped with a white back(Thanks Thomas!)was awesome, catching 10 of 14 fish!! Watermelon and Copper/Silver patterns were also productive. Saw the Bald Eagle a couple times, and my buddy in another boat saw it fishing with it's baby. Awesome Birds!!
