Im looking to upgrade my leadcore line. Trried doing a search on prevous posts which im sure would have the answer, no luck? What brand are you guys using lb test? I'd like to stay consistant with posts here when talking about how many colors are working...thanks

I run cabelas lead; 18lb. I change it every two years as the colors fade and it kinks up.

cortland kerplunk here. 18# is the size most everyone uses

Western Filament is made with 99.6% pure lead so that the lead does not poke through the outer core. Colors stay brighter longer

The Western Filament sounds like good stuff. Can you buy this local?
