Do I need to install anything special when using planer boards. I have two small hand rails on top of the gunwail can I attach to these? Maybe this doesnt get the lines up high enough? Not ready to go the down rigger route yet but not far off. Need room for four lines and like the thought of more action from boards and getting the lines away from the boat. Thanks again

i tie em to the forward cleats, works just fine. how far they end up forward/aft and off to the side depends on how much line you let out. i let em out about 30-35 feet and the boards ride about even with the console out to the side.
