spent a quiet evening on the good lake tonight , flat / hot peacfull . started right in with laker tactics , nailed 2 in the 3 pound range , lost another.switched to salmon speed - ran over and over the bait - just cant get them hooked up ! there time will come .

strange season
First fish caught came on ole' lucky yellow rod! The monkey is finally off my back... for now. Been catchin' so much grief about NOT catchin' that I decided to keep this fish for evidence!!
It was a nice fat 21" 4 lb female laker. Got her home and was shocked to find 21 smelt in her belly! Looks like there is a decent bait population in Sunapee this year!!
