Lena and I went up to visit the 22 year old boy and were able to do a little of everything. Fishing was on the top of the list, glacier tour, Denali wild life tour, white water rafting, hiking, etc. Back to the fishing, we could not go out the 1st day due to rough water. The second day we only had about 3 hours in the am. The Charter Captain from Happy Valley Hookers (Herb Downs) put us on some fish. We were able to boat 17 Halibut and kept 12 fish. The ones we boated were not monsters but they were up to 25 lbs. Lots of fun and taste great. We were able ship the fish back home all fillet and frozen. Hope to make it back up there some day.
