Well, I've been lucky enough to be invited to fish with BrianF down there on Saturday. We're fishing for stripers at the river mouth. Sunday I hope to spend my day setting up my boat for ocean fishing. Bought a few new toys to try. Hoping to get out during the following week.

Shooting for saturday on the ocean out of dover point. All depends a if my partner can go or not. I have to plan my travels around the race track I live very very very very close to it.

Do not forget the sunblock guys!!

Went out to the mudhole (out past the IOS), then down across Old Scantum. Got a great whale show, but no tuna in sight, water temps around 60-62. Back at the IOS we pulled in 4 dogs before moving back to Rye to check the lobster traps...2 big keepers, and 6 shorts, not bad for 4 hours. Now I want some freshwater, please see "anchoring to swim" post above. Thanks.
