Fished Friday morning on Crystal Lake in Enfield with Old Man River. Rainbows were chasing bait fish to the surface and hammering them, all around the boat! We just drifted through the action several times, only boated 1 fish but lots of fun watching these good sized fish. I had several 19-20 inch fish follow the lure right to the boat but not take, and River and I each had a good one on the spit the lure in mid air. Casting J7 rapalas and retrieving slow. I was wishing for my flyrod and a sudden influx of skill to use it lol. Just another of nature's displays put on for us.
