I will be fishing the last week of Sept and could use some feedback on a couple locations. Pleasant Lake in New London. State record fish have come from there but I don't here much about it. How is this fishery? Stinson Lake. I know there are no salmon, but do the rainbows get to be of any size? We plan to do Squam, Winni, and Newfound. Can anyone recommend good spots to drag deep for lakers in Winni and Newfound. Has Winnisquam been producing? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Pleasants lake level gets droped this time of year and you can't launch. I have not been by yet this year, but all other years by mid. September its un-launchable. Stinson is good for the lakers and bows, and yes the bows get pretty big there.
