been up at winni all week started out okay tues 2 salmon one in the 5 lb range 5 lakers coolwater and copper orange smelt gun fished 10 hrs 2 lines.wed only got out from 5 to 7 pm 5 salmon 1 runt others from 17 to 23 inches all on copper orange smelt gun.thu fished 12 hrs 3 runt salmon tried like hell but that was it.only stopped to run up to ajs and buy some flies.setup my leadcores with flies out at 530 this morn in a little over an hour caught 3 lakers 2 salmon copper orange and red white flies after that first hour skunked for the next 6 hrs ouch!!!did so good with the smelt gun last month its all ive been using think its time to brush the dust off all the other lures in my tackle box. still have another week up there may stay till the end of the month came home to check the board for any helpful info and pick up my nephew heading back up in a couple hrs
