Supposedly this new fuel is loosening the "sludge" that is built up on the inside of gas tanks and causing it to plug fuel lines and filters. Been hearing a lot of complaints about people losing throttle power and mainly its due to filter problems.
I also heard that some manufacturers state in their warranties that only a certain percentage of ethanol can be run in the motor. At the same time, there's talk that gas companies may be pushed to up the percentage. Catch 22, I guess. Will the manufacturers not warranty a motor if there is no fuel that meets their requirements??? Good cause for concern.
As Salty said... most problems are from fiberglass tanks.
The guys that fill up in the lakes region are ok because they do not put Ethanol in the gas. Counties that have ethanol Counties Ethanol Here is a site that deals with the effects of Ethanol in gas. Ethanol
