FISHED SANDWICH BAY FROM 630 TO 1230 TODAY. 1 SHORT SALMON, 2 KEEPER RAINBOWS 16 AND 19 AND WAY TOO MANY POCKET BASS..THESE LITTLE GUYS WERE CUTE THOUGH MAYBE 6 INCHES.MUST HAVE CAUGHT 30 OR BETTER WITH TRIPLES EVEN.THEY WERE DOWN 35 FEET.

tough luck on Squam. Was not us out there tuesday nite, we were back on the water yesterday, first time since labor day. we caught 4 lakers and 3 salmon from 6 am to 8 30 am (all 17-20")with about 6 long distant releases (lost 1 real nice salmon got tangled up in the drift sock and broke off), all on lead 4-6 colors, all on flies.
picked up and ran to merrideth to see Aj and get some new flies. headed back out to south end of rattlesnake, fished for 2 hours more w/ only 1 ldr on a downrigger at 52'.
hope to get out at least 1 more time next week and try those new flies early.
