Well I just got home from my trip to Pittsburg! It was a nice weekend and we had excellent weather.

The fishing was pretty good. We had rented a house right on the 1st Conn. Lake and that is where we did all of our fishing. Fished both Sat. and Sun. Mornings. Sat. AM we caught 3 Lakers (21", 18", and runt) and 1 runt salmon. Sun. AM we caught 5 Lakers (18", 18", 13", 12", 14") and 3 runt salmon. We were fishing at the inlet end of the lake down by Camp Otter as was suggested. Thanks for the tips. DB Smelts in a variety of colors did the trick. The best lure seemed to be a silver DB half blue with a pink stripe. I'm not sure what that one is called. Fish were caught mostly on leadcore lines at 4-8 colors. This AM seemed like they were up higher. Slow speeds were working the best 1.4 - 1.8.
