Question concerning Lake Trout in non lake trout and/or Salmon lakes
my question is since the State removed Stinson Lake, and tarlton lake from the managed salmon/lake trout lakes. are we permitted to take the lakers from these lakes during the remainer of the season, that being Jan 1- Oct 15? If we are not then why? It seems to me that since the fish and game has given up on these lakes as far as the lakers go and we can take rainbows shouldn't we be permitted to take the lakers?
it would be a shame since evidently the state has given up on them to have a record breaking or even trophy type fish get caught and not be able to keep it. I for the most part catch and release but would keep a big fish like the ones that could be caught in those non-managed lakes, and I think that I would not be alone. any thoughts on this matter?
