I grew up on the shores of Stinson Lake back in the late 80's to early 90's....
I know of Lakers to 17lbs that have come from there, but now they are hard to come by with any size, no food in the lake...
Last winter Coolwater and I went two times and caught plenty of rainbows.
The jets are always up there doing there thing,just a great lake, with great untouched views...

when i was a kid my dad use to take me there hunting. though i do not hunt now, i love to go back there and fish,brings back great memories, one of my favorite places to be.
have you heard of any decent lakers caught there recently while trolling? i know that the big ones that have come out of there are usually through the ice.
Smootch....when are you going to take me over to some of your Stinson Mt. hunting spots...You Promised me you would last year when we were at camp!

As you know, all you have to do follow my tracks backwards and they will run into you.
This year im going to hunt in reverse...
I don't know if all my tame deer are still up there..
hopefully we will find some time...
