technical question

My daughter has a 2000
Camaro convertible.
The rear window has started to come delaminated from the canvas around it. Any upholsterers or glaziers on the site know how to fix this? We got a quote of $600 but i am still not gainfully employed and am trying to keep the bill collectors at bay. I am looking for some kind of epoxy or adhesive, but don't want to wreck the thing.
Any and all suggestions cheerfully considered.
Good luck and whack a big one
Throbbin Rods.

Re: technical question

seems awefully high, i recently bought a new top for my dakota convertible pickup and the whole thing cost less than 300 dollars with a glass window.i put it on myself and they had lots of different ones to choose from on ebay(they were made to order). maybe see if one of the boat canvas shops can fix it.

Re: Re: technical question

Ummmm... Throbbin Rods you're not looking to adopt a son by any chance are ya??? I could use a convertible myself. LOL You could always do what my parents did and make the "driver" pay for the car repairs??? Anyways... I agree with the above... it's a lot cheaper to have that stuff done at a canvas shop than an upholsterer. Good luck.
