Finally starting to get some Ice up here, some of the local die-hards were out there this past weekend, couple of them already got there bobhouses on the Ice (Goshdarn fools LOL) right now we have approx 6" little less by the inlet's but until there is a good 8"-12" you won't catch my Big Behind out there LMAO Been in the water in the spring 59 degrees and froze my big butt off sure as heck aint gonna do it now LOL talked to a few guys that jigged between 20-30 smelt not much right now but it is a start won't be long before we fire up the gas grill and the auger Hopefully i can go before spring semester starts on the 16th Woooo Hoooo Take Care God Bless LOL Dave From up North Oh Crap just remembered gotta go buy my license for 07 UGHHHHHHHHHHHHhh
Actually it's not a lake it's a couple of local ponds Cedar Pond in Milan, Pontook Resevoir, and South Pond The only lake I've been Ice Fishing on is down in Conway but hoping to make it over to Maine this winter to a couple places Take Care God Bless LOL Dave From up North
A few coves on Large Squam are frozen, even with the wind today, they are still frozen over. I certainly would not venture out on them. The shoreline is open.
