May, what happened to April ???

I'm still looking for a slip on Winni ffrom Ice out til after the Derby, then bring her back to Squam, to **** big to haul back and forth and put in and out..
Craig's helping me on it and I have a few other things in the works.

Shep Brown's said I "might" be able to keep it there until mid May for a great price of 250.00 a week,but probably have to get it out before the Derby. Lets see @ 250.00/week, that equates to about 6250.00 a season, from April to end of September, I don't think so. I thought some of the Marinas gave a good deal to rent when nobody else is interested, instead they tripled the charge, LOL..

Still have a few Aces up our sleeve.

I thought about Ames Farm, be a good spot too as I've put in there a couple of times and know the area pretty good, but after Shep Brown's quote I'm still kinda shell shocked on Marina type places ???

I have a few things I'm waiting to hear on right now before I try other ideas such as Ames Farm, but based on thier launch fee, I'm a little skeptic about calling them, but I will if other stuff don't pan out..

I've got one super deal I'm looking into, hope to hear from the guy before the week is out, I'll let ya all know.

I keep my boat in the channel between paugus bay and the weirs at a private boat house that holds around 7 to 8 boats. I put in as soon as I can get in after ice is clear enough and leave on the last day of the salmon derby. The deal I have is $275 for the whole time I am there. This guy Has these slips rented out for the season but the renters are all pleasure boaters and do not get in the lake till the end of may so he makes out well. There is alot of these spots on the lake so you just need to bang on doors or make alot of calls and explain what you need it worked out great for myself. Plus his girlfriend is hot!!!

I missed that last sentence, is the girl friend there at 4:30 or 5: am, in case I need an eye opener, LOL.

Im sure there are allot of such deals, but being a flatlander limits my exposure to them.

There's a Marina in Merdith under new ownership last year that I'm trying to reach, but nobody has got back to me with the name. Met the owner last spring while gasing up with Salty and Trav, seemed like a decent guy and Salty left a couple of grand there that day, LOl, only kidding, but his boat holds allot of fuel.
