I was wondering if anyone has a easy way to remove old registration stickers(there the foil ones that break apart easy)from the side of a snow mobile cover. The sleds I bought have them all over the place so I would like to remove them without scratching the cover up and start fresh with the new registration stickers.Any input would be great.
warm them with a heat gun so they are not so britle and you should be able to get larger pieces at a time off before they break.
difficult spots sometimes need a razor blade worked gently under them to lift.
when all that is left os sticky crap use WD-40, spray some on let it soak a bit and rub it off with a paper towel or something. It really works but don't just spray on and wipe off it takes a few seconds to start working.
They sell a product in the hardware stores that removes labels and glue, I believe the name is goop be gone or something like that. They should know what it is.
YOAdrien The heat gun worked awsome and glen that is what I used my wife brought it home from school and it worked great. Thanks every one for the replys I just finished.Come on SNOW!!!!!!
