well we got a real late start today 9:30?? ended at 7:00pm started off varney point to governers to welch and then birch.then to diamond.we had a pretty good day.boated 13 fish in total.2 really nice 24 inch salmon big and fat too. first really fat ones of the year for me?one 21 " bow very fat too.and the rest were runt salmon.had 3 ldr.and one close to the boat.that spit the hook as we were netting it. the lure almost took my nephews eye out.not good.hes leaving to boot camp in 8 days.there was a 2 hour lull with no bite but picked up after that?first two big salmon were caught during setup.didnt even get a chance to put the rods in the holders.cant beat that.... good luck to every one at the derby thanks joe s ....ps spoke to lol dave sound like he picked up a couple to..
