Hey LOL Dave....sorry for such a late post but working too much.
As far as our trip to Pittsburg over Father's Day weekend....We stayed on 1ST Conn. Lake and did most of our fishing there. First day there we picked a few salmon and lakers and orange and copper along with fire tiger were the best colors. On a whole trolling for salmon after Thur. was slow and we mostly caught lakers. Most productive way and most fun for my grandsons was drifting shiners on the sand bar. They caught double digits doing that on Sat. am.
We fished several small streams for a native trout cookout and everyone had a blast doing that. Trav even took the canoe up to Coon Brook Bog but did not have any luck.
We had a great time as we were joined by Trav and his future bride as well as my Daughter and three grandsons who absolutely love the Pittsburg trip!!

Family weekend Nothing better then that LOL Catching fish is just an added bonus compared to good quality one on one family time together. Glad you guys had a good trip Take Care God Bless LOL Dave
