Looking for downrigging advice on how far back from the blades do you run your fly and or hardware for Salmon and how far from the end of the blades for Lakers.

Most people run their lures / flys 3-10 feet behind the ball if they are running blades. If you are going to run blades it kind of negates their effectiveness if you run lures further behind the ball.
im at 2 to 10 feet behind the last blade on a horizontal flasher setup on the ball. or take the flashers off the ball and use the 100 foot rule. the flashers dont always work for me, for some reason later in the season further back works better for me.
I run mine off the line counter.12 on the first one and three ft higher than the trolls and if I double stack the second one ends up 5 ft higher than number one set up and out 15 ft.I really like when the top lure gets whacked,a little easier to set it back up.LOL.I use the hundred ft rule and no blades when I'm targeting lakers.polebreaker
