Brought the boat and yaks for our week long vacation to Sebago Lake in Maine and just got home.

Anyways, fishing was kind of slow. Nice weather - fishing not so nice. Caught lots of small salmon early in the week with about a dozen fish over 18". Some nice smallmouth too but worked long and hard to find them. 3.5 pounds being the biggest.

Salmon are feeding on small white perch right now and sitting right at 100' or so just below the thermocline. Made the fishing tought unless you were 35-45' down and small fish were more agressively distracting. Got a few "ok" lakers too but nothing spectacular.

This morning I took the fly rod out and a fly that has been producing bigger fish (a 21" and 23" pictured below) and amazingly enough I boated a nice 18" salmon from the yak (1st salmon from the kayak too).
