My buddy and I launched at Meredith 5:45 AM and motored directly to Wiers area.By 7:30 we had caught 3 nice Salmon.We cotinued fishing the area until we realized the bite was over.The wind had really started to blow so we headed into it back toward the dock. Had to troll at over 3MPH in order maintain direction. Along the way we caught a 4+ lb. Laker. Caught 2 Salmon on pumpkinhead fly,other one on a home taped needlefish white/green with tiger stripes.The laker came in on a White Perch fly. Boat was on the trailer by 10:30. A rough but productive trip
