I'm thinking about a couple day trip this week to waukewan. I've never fished it before. I'm targeting trout. Any info such as lures, colors on leadcore and down rigger depths would be great. My boat is aching to get back out before the snow flys. Is the public lauch near exit 23? Thanks .
It's on Waukeewan St in Meredith. It has been slow, but you may get into a nice fish or two. Rangley is a good color. Light lead off the boards works. Also right in the prop wash. Orange lures work well. The water may be a little low so be careful. They started lowering the water level a couple of weeks ago.
