Sign up for Fin clipping/come see the fish you will be cachin in 2011 we hope,
Can we have sort of a sign up sheet for fin clipping, nobody will hold you to it, just need a rough idea for F and G. 8 or 10 each day would be ideal, but they will be happy with 4 or 5.
It's in New Durham, NH not far from rt 11/rt 28 intersecion at Alton Rotary. Go around the rotary, take Old Bay Rd off the circle, back side of McDonalds is to your left (but not on same rd) follow Old Bay rd (nice country rd with pot holes and all) to Merrymeeting Rd. follow a couple of miles to Hatchery on your left, just before the Merrymeeting Lake, can't miss it.
Give a day you can make it if possible, they hope to get it done by Wednesday. They will do it even if it's a light rain/drizsle and not too cold, optimal is a nice day in the sun (f---- rain) nobody wants to get sick..
Monday: John Sampson, Russ Johnson (Trophy Hunter)

I am not a salmon fisherman although I catch a few from time to time but I am retired so I can be available. Do I need to bring anything besides my aged body?

WOW, that would be great, that's all you need, a few of us will be bringing the same old models. Maybe you can catch the bug, great bunch of guys, worse that can happen is you will learn something along with the rest of us. I've never done it before either.

Some have asked what shoud we wear for fin clipping, great question, here is F and G answwer.
From F and G:
yes, it will be a wet experience, rain or not - good call - rubber boots, associated gear - and it seems to go from 40-80 degrees in this crazy NE weather, so dress in according layers/removable, etc. - at least we beat the black flies most years.

I am a newbie on the site although I have been watching it for the last 2 years. I would love to help out with fin clipping on Tuesday if you still need people that day. I will be there unless I hear otherwise.
