I fished a couple hours today in the brutal wind and white caps. Only saw 3 other boats- Picked up a nice 3+ smallie on a trolled shiner in 12 FOW. I tried various hardware on the other rod at 2 and 3 colors without a taker although speed was an issue with the wind. I was marking fish throughout the water column. Glad to see some great reports- thanks

Left Alton Bay at 6:30 made a couple trips around the bay no hits Trolling Smelt headed out to the south end of Rattlesnake stayed there till the wind kicked up.Picked up one nice fat 19 1/2 had three hits landed one Fishing partner had four hits and landed none slow over all but still early We fish mainly trolling smelt throw on a Guide Special now and then
