Mon & Tues, a buddy and I fished Sodus with arguably (I wouldn't) the best guide on Sodus, Brian Neal of Coho Motion Charters. Both days the weather was great, but conditions were not, as the lake started out flat, with very little stain due to the fact that the lake is down two feet. Mon, we caught 12 fish between 6 and 10 and then it shut off. Tues, we caught 8 between 6 & 11, then it shut off again. Trip total was (3) rainbows, best was 23" around 10 lbs. (3) Coho's, and (14) Browns, best was around 9 lbs.

Nice. Been out to Sodus several times. Nice little spot. Were you fishing inside the bay or outside? I like the area. You can park the car when you arrive and never need it until you leave.

Cal, Cap't Brian says he does not expect the lake to get back to normal depths anytime soon.
Proline, Most often we will start along the breakwaters and in the Bay. This trip, the water was flat & clear in the Bay, so we fished outside close to shore.
