Fished Wednesday evening, Thursday morning and thursday afternoon/evening. I caught a few salmon and a laker between the three trips and even managed a good ole' skunking on thursday morning. The Laker had me confused for a bit, I thought it was going to be a bass. I caught it in shallow water and I was trolling pretty fast too. The good news is that the salmon I caught were all fat and fiesty, much better start to this season than last as far as fish quality goes. I am also happy to say that I had only one LDR after have changed all my spoons over to single hooks from the trebles. It was also a heck of a lot easier releasing them as the hook usually popped right out for me once the fish was in the net!
