Went out yesterday from 10:00 to 11:30. Had one on the line and lost it 50' from the boat. 10 minutes left of fishing time I caught a nice Salmon 19". New to the trolling thing off my pontoon boat. Have two rods with lead core line, down 1 1/2 colors. This is a great site for beginners to learn about fishing big water. Any tips on what color streamers and what time of day would be greatly apreciated. Picked up some new streamers at AJ's.
AJ's very free with up to date info just with a phone call,Gray goast,winni smelt and other smelt patterns are all good at one time or another,just have to find what is working for that day. Good luck and have fun! BARRY
