Good Advice, and Many Thanks

Hello ladies, I took the good advice I was given and brought my kids out to a nice meal. Our server was a friend of mine from a former job, which made things even more pleasant, and we banished all talk of their father and the Beast from the table. Instead, we talked about them, and their brothers, and everything else under the sun; we feasted and were content, LOL! We had a blast~!

Re: Good Advice, and Many Thanks

Deirdre, good for you.

I am fasting this week (not complete but only one meal a day).
I know some that do this easily & often but it's not something I take to doing.. It's spiritual & for health etc.
I lost a lot of weight after I got married, so I'm not overweight now, but spiritually I could use a good fast.
Fri I meet with lawyer re financial (divorce is over but debt/court order piece is still looming).. as to ex/ debt blah blah.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
At least I will be busy preparing.
think when this is behind me I will relax.
Cannot BELIEVE how much he dumped on me totally.
while he went off to.......other women.
Don't imagine God Is too pleased with his actions.
Busy week for me. I'm glad.

Happy for you that you enjoyed the dinner out & positive conversation. What I TRUELY believe with ex h is that he despises stability & genuine love.
(we had the love & if he had allowed it, stability)

Making nice pot of stew for dinner (my one meal).

Re: Good Advice, and Many Thanks

If your goal is to lose weight, eating one meal a day is counterproductive. By depriving your body of proper nutrition & calories, your body is most likely going into starvation mode which significantly lowers your metabolism to conserve energy. Eating healthy & exercising is the ticket.
