I'm new to this forum so bear with me. First, I've been divorced for 5 1/2 years. My mother will be coming up in May to stay the summer with me and my dtr. Since she will be taking care of my dtr. every day, I feel that her father should contribute a small fee for my mom taking care of our dtr. on his days (he will be dropping off and picking our dtr. up at my house). I get mixed responses so I wanted to ask other moms.

well, is your mom losing wages from something else to watch your daughter? Why would he pay your mom on his days if he is picking her up and dropping her off? From what you wrote, it doesn't seem right to ask for money. But maybe if you can provide your rationale behind wanting payment for her...?

How would payment be made if your daughter were attending daycare?
