Sorry he is acting like such a butt.
My only input is when he criticizes you push back hard and let him know that you will not stand for him saying things like that to you.

I did divorce my husband, but near the end things only started getting slightly better when I started "stomping hard" on his behavior towards me and stopped just being passive and taking it.
