out of state visit

I have physical custody of my twins who are 7. My ex-husband lives 1600 miles away. Our custody agreement says he is allowed supervised visits. And he can have them for 2 weeks in the summer. He has never taking them. They have not seen him in over 2 years. His parents are the ones who are supposed to supervise him, they have not seen or ever spoken to my twins in over 2 years. Their father is a paranoid schizophrenic and is supposedly living on his own with a court appointed guardian. He all of a sudden says he wants them for the 2 weeks in the summer.

Re: out of state visit

I would think you need to call your attorney about that. If you find out that legally you have to honor the agreement, can you go also and stay for the two weeks to make sure they stay safe?
