I saw the headlines, but no description of which rule(s) were violated. In the past, what kinds of violations have resulted in entire programs being penalized in this way?

They asked for waivers got denied, one kid played anyways. Everyone passed the buck when MIAA confronted them on it. Zero accountability. They weren't making the tournament in any sports anyways so who cares. They just missed getting into the hockey tourney with their 4 wins.

Yeah the kid played varsity as an eighth grader left after his Freshman year … Daddy thinks rules don’t apply to him. Thinks hes a Mayor or something

It would be nice if all MIAA rules were enforced for all schools not just some of the rules. A reclassified 8th grader who is not part of the school should not play on varsity especially when there are 70+ underclassmen hoping for a spot. Or how about the recruited varsity kids that don’t have to sit a year.

So a kid who's better then those 70 kids should do what, sit and wait his turn? If he's better, he plays, tell the other 70 kids to be better.

that's cute you automatically assume an 8th grader is better. yes, he should wait his turn if he doesn't go to that school.
