1) Define "teams in the area"?
2) If you aren't from the area, how are you planning on your son getting back & forth since he's not old enough to drive?
3) Is he going to prep to play varsity hockey?
My apologies as split season doesn’t exist where we are from
He will be in northern CT but it was our understanding kids don’t practice with team and there’s usually a local parents of other players that carpool to games/showcases
May make varsity but probably won’t play much
Can't really help with CT, sorry. My experience has been that many of the existing or new but going to varsity players (repeat juniors) go to the same half season team to start building chemistry. Perhaps reach out to a coach or ass't coach at the school for some advice.
That landscape is changing
Call the schools coach, he will have info for split season teams.
Rifles or Yale most common for that area.
If your boy is not going to play much varsity then your idiot for letting him play. Let hum play a full season team local to you then come and then come and actually play. Moron.
Majority of prep hockey stinks. Watch next year as EVERY promising 02 and 01 have left. There are a few good ones left, but soon to be extinct.
USNDT, Tier 1 Elite, USPHL. In that order. Know your hockey before spewing your BS. Read the March NEHJ and you will know what I’m talking about.
You missed the education part... Somehow I'm not surprised.
go to a charter school or move to a better town....
Hopefully you're aware that Prep kids are required to play a sport all three seasons. Then there's that pesky homework/study thing.
The only U15 teams I know are formed for Nattys.
nothing has changed LOL
