True, but also helps parents reinforce how important education is..Hockey ends soon for all of them.
Why does teaching their kids to honor their commitments come to parents' minds so infrequently?
You signed a contract. Chances are, they turned other kids down. If you leave, you are leaving not only the program, but the 20 other families.
You also will leave a big black checkmark next to your kid's name. Coaches talk. If your kid quits, that's what he will be. A quitter.
"Turned other kids down"   Sorry we cant take your check, we have just the right amount of players, why dont you give that money to the program down the street!

U16s and U18s aren't Juniors. They aren't sitting 6 players a game as healthy scratches. Usually max of 20 skaters, 2, maybe 3 goalies.
And the better programs have more than that number available. So, yes, they turn players down.
Apparently, not in your benders's program, though.
