Got letter from school that fall sports are canceled in the ISL.
haha. How much of a tuition break they offer?
Hockey will start in September for the schools that have rinks, skills, cones, etc..Will be interesting to see if they allow any contact like 1v1, etc... Jr, Sr, and PG kids dreams of committing to a college are gone. 01-04 birth years are toast.
If Trump loses, fake crisis over Nov. 4; if he wins, it continues.
For the Prep schools in MA, If Gov Baker announces all Public Schools to go full Remote learning next year, do your Prep schools fall under this also? Curious how that works in MA?
Hey donkey...01’s in Prep this coming year? Wow are you an idiot. Good 01’s played college this year you moron. Any 01 playing Prep this coming year has no chance of a D3 future let alone D1. Good 02’s are playing College next year. Worst case, USHL or NAHL.
Please make me laugh here. Please name a single 02 that was going to play Prep this year that has a legitimate chance of playing D1 hockey and actually playing. Name 1 please...
OP - post the ISL language here please and see if your title still makes sense. Oh wait, you don’t have the letter from the ISL?? Long story short, fall sports will be very different. They may even be canceled but it’s up to the individual schools. Stick to the facts. You may end up being dead on but nothing has been officially canceled.
Here is the text from the letter. . .
In our discussions related to the upcoming fall season, the health and safety of our communities has been at the forefront of our planning. While we remain committed to providing our students with meaningful athletic experiences, we will not offer the traditional full slate of league games this fall, nor will we confer league championships or awards. It is our hope that conditions will prove safe enough to allow for some interscholastic athletic competition during the Fall Season at the discretion of individual schools.
We will continue, as ISL heads of school and athletic directors, to meet regularly this summer and to collaborate across our schools to best support our students, our programs, and our communities.
