PHL Rather than the summer useless tnmtsBle option

This is the model guys. One maybe two games a week for a reasonable fee. Tnmt organizers making huge money off of lousy products for years. Glad this is a vialable option. Nothing worse than three games in a tnmt that you win each by 9 goals then roll in to Sunday for one, maybe two decent games. Colossal waste of time and money. Tournament fatigue and they haven’t even started yet. However, the talk from the dads mentioning that their boy is playing for blah blah blah certainly has started. Usually followed by a disclaimer saying that he doesn’t really want him to play buy ya know, the kid wants tooo, suuuuurrrre

If your kid is in high school, no summer games needed. What he needs is skill/skating coaching and to get in the Gym. If your PHL offers these then have at it, but tournament games are a thing of the past, now time to focus on skill, skating, off ice development.

Yes, good option. Better option, stay on campus to enjoy the spring semester while playing 3v3 Tournaments and having college coaches come in and run practices once a week while also playing other spring sports. I guess my kid is lucky or the school is just smart.

only reason this is working this year is bc Neutral Zone is running it and people feel like it was a lost season, Usually after 40 game half season And 30 prep games Kids need a break. _

Fully agreed. In “normal” times they would all need a break. And some of them do need a spring sport, gym and skill training right now more, than yet another season. Mine certainly does... has been going non stop for ten months. But we have to give credit to NZ for making it happen to fill a void for those who need it.
