This guy has no idea about the u15 landscape. Absolutely clueless. Best U15 at Festival played at Shattucks.

Re: 2004 national festival picks

You mean the u14 / 06 kid? He will be u15 next season. OP wrote about 04, response was about 05.
Simple list of who played where, not who is best.

Re: 2004 national festival picks

Not completely surprised at the selections. Some of the “ names” we have been hearing about since Mites just simply have not proven themselves. Some found themselves in spots where they had to earn a spot at a new school or team and were not able to earn it based on what they did in mites. Not surprising

Re: 2004 national festival picks

Still don’t understand the back door deals comment. 04 list looks legit, not sure who would replace selected kids. Congrats to all of them.

Re: 2004 national festival picks

Educate us please.

Re: 2004 national festival picks

A “back door deal” is what happened when a dad believes with all his heart that his bendy should be on the team even though he got cut, or perhaps never even got a look. Player selections have nothing to do with talent when your kid doesn’t make the team.

Re: 2004 national festival picks

So if I believe my kid should be selected for natty camp but he’s not good enough to make it how do I get a group college coaches and NHL scouts to pick him? Just bring them wheelbarrows of cash? Take them each to a nice steakhouse, round of golf?

Re: 2004 national festival picks

Sponsor a coach's team in a scramble or something more memorable than just one round of golf.

Re: 2004 national festival picks

USA Hockey at large bids went out. Few more Mass kids to add to the list.

Re: 2004 national festival picks

Where’s the list?

Re: 2004 national festival picks

At least 2 goalies were given USA hockey bids. Cushing and BK

Re: 2004 national festival picks

No skaters?
