Scouts at tournaments

How is it that the Chowder Cup, USPHL Summer Showcase and the Battle of Boston tournaments will all be held on the same weekend in July and each claims their tournament will be well scouted ? Are there that many scouts in this area ?

Re: Scouts at tournaments

OK so you would prefer that they say our tournament is not scouted, correct?

Re: Scouts at tournaments

Three tournaments 3 to 4 days. They don't need to hunker down at one rink for 3 solid days. The only conflict will be when the finals are held all on the same afternoon. The scouts like to go to see the best players play.

Re: Scouts at tournaments

Scouts? Somebody say scouts?

Re: Scouts at tournaments

they've come to see the Chiefs, the toughest team in the federal League.. not this bunch of pussies

Re: Scouts at tournaments

Only two events will be scouted. No real scout goes to USPHL games.

Re: Scouts at tournaments

They'll be at the USPHL Showcase to scout the NCDC games

Or the Chowder Cup anymore. Battle of Boston took all the good teams.

Re: Scouts at tournaments

BoB still has some stinkers, and Chowder still has some good teams in it.
Chowder is way bigger so no doubt it's got more fluff. BoB is gaining traction b/c good teams are tired of walking through their division in Chowder preliminaries.
